Mood rooms

Red for energy, blue for rest and relaxation, or a rainbow lightshow. In our Mood rooms you can set the lighting and colours to create the mood or environment of your choice.

Colour is not just something we see but also something we feel. Colour and light influence our minds and bodies. In our Mood rooms you can enjoy a personal “light therapy treatment” that we hope will help lift your spirits and awaken your senses.

The Mood rooms are furnished with a light-bed that lets you set your own colours, tempo and intensity. Choose the hue that suits your frame of mind. Create flowing waves of light in an ever-changing pattern of colour or set the tempo to pulsating disco mode. Become a “light DJ” and discover subtle nuances of colour at the touch of a button. 

Room types

The Mood room is available in two categories: Deluxe Mood – our largest and most luxurious room - and Superior Mood. All room types are equipped with the light-bed that lets you adjust the lighting and colours.

The Light book "Light Moods"

In our Mood rooms you will find a copy of our “Light Moods” book. This describes how the light-bed in the room works and tells you more about colour and the influence it has on us. “Light Moods” is available for purchase in reception at Nordic Light Hotel.
