The design hotel, Nordic Light Hotel in Stockholm accepted the prize of Sweden’s best boutique hotel at a gala dinner in Poprad, Slovakia this week.  Also during the week Design Hotels voted the Nordic Light Hotel one of the best profiled design hotels in the world.

The Nordic Light Hotel works from the concept that design, light, sound and interesting people are all a part of a guest’s experience. They work actively with partners such as Forum AIF, +46 and Svensk Form and events such as the Stockholm Film Festival, Stockholm Design Week and Future Design Days during the year to ensure that their guests get the best and most up-to-date of what Sweden has to offer in terms of Swedish culture.

The World Travel Awards are given out every year and are the international travel industry’s answer to the Oscars. This is the fifteenth year in a row that travel agents and other actors within the travel industry from the whole world have voted for their favourites from every continent.
