Bisazza’s show-stopping “Silver Ware Collection” is making a guest appearance at Nordic Light Hotel commencing on 30 August 2007 during the weeklong Formex Exhibition in Stockholm.

During the Milan Furniture Fair in April 2007, the Italian mosaic company Bisazza mounted an exhibition designed by the Belgian/Dutch design duo Studio Job. The exhibition attracted a great deal of attention and has toured Europe this spring. Part of the exhibition is now being shown at Nordic Light Hotel in the form of a giant sized bowl decorated all over in 24-carat white gold mosaic.

“We wanted to have a fun element during design week in Stockholm and this fantastic piece was the ideal choice. It is a pleasure to be able to show it here in Stockholm”, says Anders Johansson, President of Nordic Hotels.

The Bisazza bowl is set off by a shimmering woven vinyl mat in metallic pink. The mat is provided in cooperation with the swedish company Bolon, a world-leading producer and supplier of acrylic mats. Bolon has been highly successful internationally in recent years, not least on the design scene.

The preliminary plan is for the installation to be shown at Nordic Light Hotel until mid-September.

Other items from the Bisazza silver collection are now being displayed at “Museo Z33” in Belgium and during the period 15–25 September the entire collection will be shown at the “100% Design” exhibition in London.
