The installation opens on the 12 th of May and will be on show until mid-August 2009 and the collection will be sold in limited edition at Design House Stockholm this summer. The installation is a part of Nordic Light's concept of promoting Swedish designers and to give guests a new and exciting experience every visit.

At the beginning of 2008, Anna launched her collection NUMB based on the 90° right angle, and it was awarded the Design S/Swedish Design Award. With ORB*, she refines the concept further and continues her work on geometrical rules by exploring the sphere and circle as a concept and form.

The installation will feature 12-15 garments, a video production and images, and will be integrated into the surroundings with the help of sound and lighting. The video production is directed by Marcus Palmqvist, one of Sweden’s top fashion and art photographers. He will be working with double exposure, where the movements and shadows of the dancers are projected back onto them.

Anna Bonnevier is an artist/fashion designer, who often mixes genres and creates concept-based clothing collections around textile handicrafts and experimental methods. She was the first fashion designer to be awarded Design S.

*An orb is a light phenomenon that sometimes appears on photographs or films. Usually fuzzy circles that appear when particles end up severely out of focus; a common result of using a flash in dark spaces.
