Saturday Light consists of four alternating club nights: Socially Hazardous, 24:hours, Kvinnosaksklubben and Playgirlz. Each club runs one Saturday a month, with a varying profile and audience. The one thing that each of these Saturday nights will have in common is that they will feature high energy electronica.

Saturday Light will be launched on 26 April. Socially Hazardous are up first, with a focus on electronic music, mainly electro, techno and house.

This spring, Galleri Kleerup will also join Saturday Light. The Gallery will be offering a mix of live video art, films and other projects. Saturday Light will be held each Saturday, between 20.00 and 01.00

Socially hazardous, Saturday 26 April
Socially hazardous is a legend on Stockholm’s nightclub scene. Festfixarkollektivet,which was launched in 2002, has since been a huge success, both underground and in the major venues. The range of music genres is broad, but the focus is on electronica.

Kvinnosaksklubben, Saturday 3 May
Kvinnosaksklubben is the female DJ team, featuring Mikronesien, Funky Tuna and Gavana. Together, they have filled dance floors in Stockholm, Berlin, Gothenburg and Uppsala, and at their own club night at Marie Laveau. www.myspace.com/kvinnosaksklubben

Playgirlz, Saturday 10 May
Playgirlz is made up of David Roiseux & Cristian Dinamarca. Playgirlz is a completely new venture, which is being launched at Saturday Light.

24:hours, Saturday 17 May
24 hours is a collective that became a record company, launched a music website and then started organising club nights. They have played nights/clubs at China, Neu, Spy Bar, Grodan, Riche and Marie Laveau. www.2-4-hours.blogspot.com
