From 22-27 April, the Nordic Light Hotel will join a number of Swedish designers and manufacturers representing Sweden at the Milan Furniture Fair. The Swedish exhibition will be held at Superstudio Più, focusing on what happens when designers and manufacturers come together, and the ensuing “love story”.

Swedish Love Stories has been arranged by Svensk Form in association with Stockholm Furniture Fair, Codesign, VisitSweden, the Swedish Trade Council and Stockholm Business Region. The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge Swedish design, giving designers and manufacturers the opportunity to make new contacts and do business.

“As Stockholm’s design hotel, it’s important for us to be there with other design companies making new contacts,” says Anders Johansson, CEO of Nordic Hotels. “Several times each year, we invite selected designers to create inspirational installations in our lobby, reinforcing the Nordic Light Hotel’s role as a forum for design. So we’ve chosen to present one of our original designers, Lars Phil, in Milan, together with his ideas behind the hotel and the concept.”

Also taking part in the Swedish Love Stories exhibition will be names such as Form Us With Love, Monica Förster, Bolon, TAF and Thomas Bernstrand, all of whom have previously worked with the Nordic Light Hotel.
