We can arrange wine-tastings in our American wine cellar that can be accompanied by a culinary experience prepared in our kitchens. Sample our Californian citrus stew with selected cheeses. We also arrange tasting sessions for chocolate, olive oil or other products according to your wishes.
Chill out with an ice drink in our ICEBAR at Nordic Sea Hotel. The entire interior of the bar, including the drinking glasses, is made of 100% pure ice from the Torne River in northern Sweden. The temperature inside is –5ºC and guests are offered the loan of a warm silver cape.
Ice sculpturing, ice menu and personal guiding in combination with the ICEBAR are new activities at Nordic Sea Hotel from March 2006. The ice is of course delivered from Torne River in Jukkasjärvi. Ice sculpturing means that the participant, using ice tools, can chisel their own work of art in ice, with guidance from a professional artist from ICEHOTEL. In the lounge at Nordic Sea Hotel you can enjoy an ice menu with a touch of Lapland, dishes are served on ice plates made from the crystal clear ice of Torne River in Jukkasjärvi. The ice menu consists of:

Take the seaplane out to Sandhamn, situated at the farthest reaches of the Stockholm archipelago. Here you will enjoy an arrangement in an idyllic setting of rocky islets and skerries, with activities such as sailing, fishing and swimming. Eat lunch at our associate Sandhamn Hotell & Konferens or stay the night and soak up the atmosphere of calm and tranquillity. If you prefer a more adventurous experience you can carve through the waves at 50 knots in a rigid inflatable speedboat. Round off the day with a barbeque on the beach alongside Nordic Blue Hotel. We barbecue a pig on an open fire and play the guitar until dawn.
